Power Savers Alert, Wed. July 22nd

The Delaware Municipal Electric Corporation has issued a Power Savers Alert for today (Wednesday) between 3:00 p.m. at 6:00 p.m. Customers are asked to voluntarily reduce their electricity use in order to keep costs down during a time of expected high demand.
Possible steps including turning the AC thermostat up a few degrees, postponing use of washers, dryers and dishwashers, turning off unnecessary lights, and delaying use of a pool pump until after the alert expires.
