Police were led on a multi-state pursuit Friday morning around 1:45 after police spotted a vehicle reported stolen from Charles County in Ocean City.  Police chased the vehicle from Ocean City into Delaware and back into Maryland in Cecil County.  In Perryville the suspect began driving down the railroad tracks – then turned around and drove toward Perryville officers who were on foot – with at least one officer firing shots at the vehicle.  It’s believed the suspect ran off on foot into a wooded area.  Police from numerous agencies continue to search for the suspect.  Maryland State Police are investigating the shooting at the request of Perryville Police.
