UPDATED: Rehoboth’s “Pink Lady Bandit” Arrested in North Carolina by FBI
UPDATED – 7/29/19 – The Pink Lady Bandit has been arrested! FOXNews reports that the FBI arrested 35 year old Circe Baez of Harrisburg, PA in a hotel in Charlotte for allegedly robbing four banks – including the M&T Bank in Rehoboth Beach last Tuesday. A second person, 28 year old Alexis Morales of Harrisburg, PA was arrested by the FBI as an accomplice in Friday’s robbery at a BB&T Bank in Hamlet, North Carolina. They are both being held at the Pitt County Detention Center in Greenville, North Carolina.
Baez and Morales are awaiting their extradition back to Delaware where they will both be charged with the following:
- Robbery Second Degree
- Conspiracy Second Degree

UPDATED – 1:20pm – Delaware State Police need your help to identify the suspect in a bank robbery just before 10 Tuesday morning at the M&T Bank on Camelot Drive in Rehoboth Beach. Police say the suspect is a whit female, about 5′ 5″ tall and 130 pounds. She was wearing a baseball cap and white tank top. A bank employee tells police the suspect showed a note demanding money. The employee handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect left the bank. No weapon was displayed – or implied. If you can identify the suspect – contact State Police at Troop 4 or Crime Stoppers.

Around 10 this morning Delaware State Police were called for a bank robbery at the M&T Bank at Camelot on Route 1 in Rehoboth Beach. There are unconfirmed reports that the suspect is a white female wearing a white tank top. Delaware State Police tell WGMD that no weapon was displayed and there is no concern for public safety at this time. The investigation is in its early stages – WGMD will have more as it becomes available.
