Police investigating after Seaford home is hit with gunfire

Delaware State Police are investigating after a home was hit by gunfire over the weekend in Seaford.
According to the Delaware State Police Department, the incident occurred around 7:24 p.m., Saturday at a residence located in the 24000 block of Middlecord Circle in Seaford.
A 17-year-old was in her bedroom at the time of the incident when she heard multiple gunshots outside.
Troopers arrived and discovered several shell casings on the ground and multiple bullet holes in the exterior of the residence.
The victim was not injured as a result of the incident.
