Police Investigate Bridgeville Shooting Incident

Delaware State Police say they are investigating shots fired in Bridgeville on Sunday night.

The incident occurred around 10:35 p.m. when Troopers were dispatched to the 11000 block of 5th Street in Bridgeville for reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, Troopers spoke to residents who said they were in their bedroom when they heard two gunshots. Investigations revealed two bullet holes had struck a rear door at the residence.

A 43-year-old female resident and her 42-year-old husband were not injured as a result of the incident. Authorities say they have no suspect description at this time.
