Pole Building Fire In Federalsburg Under Investigation

A pole building fire in Federalsburg is under investigation.
According to the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office, the fire in a 24-foot-by-30-foot pole building in the 4,900-block of Long Swamp Road was reported Sunday at about 2:12 a.m. by someone who was passing by. Damage to the structure is estimated at $20,000, and $5,000 to its contents. Federalsburg Volunteer firefighters had the fire under control in about 45 minutes. No injuries were reported.
