Pocomoke House Fire Under Investigation

Firefighters in Pocomoke were called for a house fire on Laurel Street just after 1 Friday afternoon. Crews arriving on the scene found smoke and fire showing from the second floor. Multiple additional companies were called to help battle the 2-alarm fire. Two firefighters were treated on the scene for minor injuries. The blaze is under investigation by the Worcester County Fire Marshal’s office.
