Pet Adoption Fees Reduced This Week At Del. Humane, Del. SPCA

If you are considering adopting a pet, this may be your week.

The Delaware Humane Association and Delaware SPCA are teaming up with North Shore Animal League America for “Tour for Life 2022.

Between today (Monday) and Sunday March 6th, the adoption fee for all cats and dogs who have been waiting more than 22 days will be reduced to $22 at DHA AND DSPCA, including DHA’s adoption center in Rehoboth Beach.

Tour for Life is described as the world’s largest cooperative pet adoption event.

Folks interested in adoption at DHA are encouraged to submit an adoption questionnaire at https://delawarehumane.org/adopt/how-to-adopt/ prior to visiting. Both DHA Wilmington and Rehoboth Beach Adoption Center locations are open to the public Tuesday – Sunday from noon to 5 PM.

Folks interested in adoption at Delaware SPCA are encouraged to submit an adoption questionnaire at
https://www.delspca.org/adopt/adoption-process/ prior to visiting. The Stanton/Christiana Adoption
center location is open to the public on Tuesday from 11 AM to 7 PM, Wednesday – Friday from 11 AM
to 4 PM, and Saturday from 11 AM to 5 PM.
