Pedestrian Struck & Killed in Delmar

A pedestrian is dead after a crash just after midnight in Delmar.  Delaware State Police say a 33 year old Delmar man was crossing Route 13 in the northbound lane when he walked into the path of a Honda Accord.  The Honda, driven by a 45 year old Seaford man stopped in the median a short distance away.  Police say the pedestrian wore dark clothes and had no light – he was taken to PRMC in Salisbury where he was pronounced dead – impairment is undetermined.  The driver was properly restrained and not injured – and was not impaired.  If you have information – contact Crime Stoppers – 800-TIP-3333.
