Pedestrian Critical after Hit & Run Near Lincoln

A hit and run crash has left a man in critical condition.  Delaware State Police say just after 5:30 last night a 21 year old New Castle man was northbound on Route 113 in Lincoln when he was struck by a vehicle.  Police say the vehicle stopped briefly – but then drove off.  The victim was flown to Christiana Hospital – police say it appears he was impaired.  Police say the vehicle that struck him is maroon or red and should have front end damage to the hood, bumper and lights and is missing the driver’s side mirror.  If you have information – contact Crime Stoppers – 800-TIP-3333.
