One Person Dead Following Car Crash on Route 13 in Princess Anne

Maryland State Police say they are investigating following an overnight crash in Somerset County.
Troopers say they incident happened around 1:30 a.m. this morning. A Trooper witnessed a white vehicle off the roadway, crashed into the center median of Route 13. An investigation uncovered the vehicle was a Dodge Magnum operated by a 19-year-old female of Painter, Virginia.
Upon arrival on the scene, the Trooper identified the victim as deceased. Fire?EMS was contacted and responded. The Maryland State Police reconstructionist also responded to the scene, with the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office and State Highway Administration also being involved. The Accomack County, Virginia Sheriff’s Office was contacted to notify next of kin.
