One Injured in Crash on Millsboro Highway Near Gumboro

One man was taken to an area hospital after a crash on Millsboro Highway at Nine Foot Road near Gumboro. Delaware State Police tell the Talk of Delmarva that around 1:20pm a tractor trailer that was southbound on Millsboro Highway stopped to turn onto Nine Foot Road. A Ford F550 Super Duty truck driven by a 35 year old man from Delmar was southbound and crashed into the right rear side of the tractor trailer.
The Delmar man was hospitalized with serious injuries – and was cited for inattentive driving.
The driver of the tractor trailer – a 61 year old man from Bridgeville – did not report any injuries.
