A crash involving three vehicles shut down southbound Route 113 in Dagsboro for some time Saturday morning.  Delaware State Police say a pickup truck was stopped for a red light on Clayton Avenue at Route 113, but for unknown reasons the driver accelerated and crossed both lanes of traffic – colliding with a car stopped for the light on Nine Foot Road.  The force of the crash – pushed the car backwards into the front of a FedEx truck.  The 62 year old driver of the pickup was flown to Christiana Hospital and is in critical condition.  The driver of the car and two passengers were properly restrained – they were treated and released from Nanticoke Memorial Hospital.  The driver of the FedEx truck was not injured.
