OD Call Leads to Discovery of Meth Labs in Vehicle

Dover Police were called for a possible overdose or medical issue in the parking lot of the Walgreens Thursday morning. Police found 59 year old Eugene Thompson in a vehicle – who was taken to a local hospital for medical treatment. While helping Thompson, they found a one-pot meth lab inside the vehicle – and a second one in the trunk. Officers also found three vials containing .6 grams of meth in the vehicle. Hazmat units were called and the parking lot closed for several hours while the scene was cleared. Thompson is charged with operating a clandestine laboratory and possession.
