The Ocean City Police Department’s K9 ranks saw the retirement on Wednesday of K Rocco, but the OCPD now welcomes K9 Finn! K-9 Finn comes from the Czech Republic and is a one-year old Belgian Malinois. Finn and his partner, PFC Patrick Schob have spent the last six weeks in training at the Shallow Creek Kennels in Pennsylvania for patrol and narcotics detection techniques. PFC Schob has been a member of the police department since July 2018, serving on the Traffic Safety Unit for the past three years.

K9 Finn is now certified from the North American Police Work Dog Association and is ready for duty in Ocean City.
