UPDATED: Ocean View Officer Involved in Crash Saturday Morning

UPDATED – 7/22/18 6:30am – Delaware State Police are investigating a crash involving an on-duty Ocean View Police officer Saturday morning.  The crash occurred on Central Avenue – and according to WGMD Traffic, the police car and another vehicle collided and a utility pole was damaged just north of Route 26.  Both drivers were treated for minor injuries at Beebe Medical Center and released.

A crash involving an on-duty Ocean View Police officer in an Ocean View Police vehicle is under investigation by Delaware State Police.  The police vehicle and another vehicle crashed just before 8:30 Saturday morning on Central Avenue north of Route 26.  The officer and driver of the other vehicle were both treated for injuries at Beebe Medical Center and released.
