Ocean View Man Dies After Frankford Crash

An Ocean View man is dead after a crash on Route 113 at Daisy Road in Frankford.  Delaware State Police continue to investigate, but say that just after 11am an 87 year old man from Ocean View driving a Trailblazer was on Daisy Road and failed to stop for a stop sign – into the path of a pickup truck pulling a trailer.  The collision tore the front door off the Trailblazer which was struck by a GMC Sierra.  The Trailblazer spun into a snow back.  The 87 year old driver was taken to AGH in Berlin where he was pronounced dead – a passenger, an 80 year old woman from Millville, was taken PRMC with non-life threatening injuries.  Police say all drivers and passengers were properly restrained and impairment is not a factor.
