An Ocean View Family is offering a $6,000 reward for the safe return of their dog, Ace, who went missing over three weeks ago. Their efforts to find him have since gone viral with thousands now joining the “Race to Find Ace.”

The family has vowed to continue the search until they find Ace, a Labrador Retriever who ran away from their home on Sunday, Sept. 22 and did not return. Nicole Peterdozzi, Ace’s owner, said her family is devastated.

In an interview with WGMD’s Rob Petree, Nicole explains…

“It’s just so depressing,” she said. “Everyday you wake up, keep searching, and hoping he’ll be running and trailing on up right through the door like nothing ever happened. It’s hard, it wreaks havoc on everybody. The kids are upset, we’re upset.”

Peterdozzi’s fiance, George Elliott said they are offering a $6,000 reward for the safe return of Ace.

“We’re offering a $6,000 reward for his safe return, no questions asked, and the person will remain anonymous,” Elliott explained. “We want him back home.”

Elliott’s had Ace since he was 8-weeks old. He described some distinctive features that set Ace apart from other labradors who may look similar.

“He’s not neutered,” he said. “He’s got a brown, distinctive strip on his nose, and when we was a pup he got his tail caught in something, so his tail is about half an inch shorter, it’s not pointy at the end.”

Anyone who would like to aide in the search or reach out to the family is encouraged to contact Nicole at (302) 542-8344 or George at (302) 218-1577.
