OC Special Event Zone In Effect May 18th-23rd

Ocean City is getting the word out about a Special Event Zone that begins Tuesday May 18th and continues through the following Sunday, during the spring Cruisin’ Ocean City event.

The provision increases fines for motor vehicle violations and establishes speed limits. Citizens and visitors should expect increased police presence with Ocean City Police getting support from allied agencies. Traffic laws will be strictly enforced.

Spectators are urged to keep sidewalks clear for pedestrian traffic and should not encourage drivers to perform burn-outs or other stunts.
