New Traffic Light Near Berlin-Rt 589 & Taylorville Road

On Tuesday the Maryland Department of Transportation will activate a newly installed traffic signal on Racetrack Road/Route 589 near the intersection with Taylorville Road. Thee signal will be on flash mode for 72 hours and will become fully operational on Friday, June 23. Construction of the $789,000 traffic signal began in March to accommodate the new Atlantic General Medical Center.
