NCCo Drug Operation Leads to 22 Arrests for Drug Sales

The Delaware State Police, New Castle County Governor’s Task Force and Northern Drug Unit have arrested 22 suspects for marijuana sales from a home in the Wilmington area after a six-month investigation into Pop-Up marijuana sales events occurring throughout New Castle County. A search warrant was executed by multiple police agencies on January 12 at an establishment on Kirkwood Highway where 22 defendants were located and arrested. Police seized over 86 pounds of marijuana, edibles and THC-related items, 1.6 pounds of Psilocybin Mushrooms, 60 Oxycodone and Alprazolam prescription pills, $9200 in suspected drug proceeds, 3 firearms – 1 reported stolen from Pennsylvania and a bullet-proof vest. Those arrested were mainly from New Castle County in Delaware – there was one suspect from Dover, as well as Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
