Wednesday’s NASA Wallops Launch to be Visible Across Delmarva

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration will launch an unmanned spacecraft from it’s Wallops Flight Facility in Accomack County, Virginia Wednesday, that will be visible across all of Delmarva, and a large swath of the Eastern seaboard.聽 Virtually everywhere on Delmarva, it will be visible within 60 seconds of launch.
This is a re-supply mission to the International Space Station.聽 The Antares rocket carrying the Cygnus spacecraft will launch Wednesday, April 17 around 4:46 p.m. eastern time and will be loaded with 7,600 pounds of research, crew supplies and hardware bound for the ISS.
The Cygnus spacecraft, dubbed the SS Roger Chaffee, will arrive at the space station Friday, April 19. At about 5:30 a.m.
