MSP Investigating Death of Salisbury Area Woman

Maryland State Police were called when a motorist spotted a body off the side of a road near the intersection of Johnson and Bear Swam Roads in Parsonsburg around 3 Sunday afternoon. Police say her body was in the wood line – over 10 feet from the road. The woman, identified as 30 year old Ashlie Meadow-Simms of Parsonsburg, was pronounced dead at the scene – her body has been taken to the Medical Examiner for autopsy. Police believe Meadow-Simms was last seen between 10 and 11pm Friday near her home on Johnson Road. They ask anyone with information to contact the Salisbury Barrack – 410-749-3101.
