UPDATED: MSP Investigating a Fatal Shooting in Salisbury
UPDATED – 02/18/24 3:20am – Maryland State Police have identified the victim as 49 year old Richard Darlington Smith of Salisbury. Police ask anyone with surveillance cameras in the North Division Corridor – including New Town, Johnson Lake and Emmerson Avenue to contact State Police in Salisbury. An investigator will review the footage – looking for footage between 6 and 9pm Friday night. Call State Police at 410-749-3101

Maryland State Police were called to North Division Street in Salisbury just after 8pm Friday for a shooting. Preliminary investigation shows a man was walking down the street when he was shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Salisbury Police are assisting.
