Monday Morning Crisfield Fire – Arson

An investigation by Maryland State Fire Marshals has determined a fire on Locust Street in Crisfield was arson. Crisfield firefighters were called just after 5 Monday morning and found fire venting to the outside of the home. Officials say the home was vacant and there was no evidence of smoke alarms or a sprinkler system. Investigators say the fire began inside the home on the first floor. Officials say this is the 3^rd vacant house fire in Crisfield since last October. The others were on West Main Street on October 9^th and on North Third Street on October 12^th.
