Milton Juvenile Arrested After Assaulting Two Police Officers

A 17 year old from Milton has been arrested after he left the scene of a collision, resisted arrest and assaulted two police officers. The incident occurred Friday afternoon just before 2:30 in the area of Route 9 and Josephs Road in Lewes and witnesses told police that a black male wearing black jeans and a white t-shirt was one of the drivers who left the scene on foot. The suspect was located at the Tall Pines Mobile Home Park. The suspect resisted arrest and after a physical altercation, the teen was arrested and charged with 2 counts of 2^nd degree injure of a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest and other offenses. He is free on a $13,000 unsecured bond.
