A domestic incident in Millville ended with gun fire Saturday night.  Delaware State Police were called to Dorothy Circle but learned the suspect, 40 year old Joshua Welsh had left the home – but possibly had several rifles and handguns in his possession.  Troopers spotted Welsh’s car and tried to stop him – but he led police on a brief chase before he was stopped and arrested.  Several rifles, a handgun and ammunition were found in the car.  Police learned that Welsh was arguing with his parents when he began taking the weapons from the home.  He kicked the family dog and pushed his mother to the ground and struggled with his father.  He fired a round towards the ground before leaving the home.  Welsh is charged with multiple offenses including reckless endangering, assault and cruelty to animals.
