Millsboro Woman Charged with 7th Offense DUI

A Millsboro woman has been arrested for a 7th offense DUI after she was involved in a hit and run crash on Sunday afternoon. Delaware State Police were called to Starboard Road and met with a resident who told them his mailbox was struck by a maroon Ford work van. Police identified the van and driver a 56 year old Kim Toohey and contacted her driving a different vehicle at the time. They smelled alcohol and she was investigated for DUI and a computer check showed 6 previous DUI convictions. A search of her vehicle turned up drug paraphernalia. Toohey faces charges of DUI, leaving the scene of an accident and other offenses.
