Millsboro Man Who Robbed & Kidnapped Rehoboth Couple Sentenced to 20 Years

In July of 2018, 30 year old Steven Snell of Millsboro kidnapped an elderly Rehoboth couple from the Cornwall Road home and forced them to drive to an ATM to get money for him. The husband was tied up in the trunk and Snell forced the wife to withdraw money from their bank ATM – but the woman refused to get back in the car as another customer arrived. Snell drove off and the husband was able to free himself after the car stopped. Snell has been sentenced to 20 years in prison followed by 1 year of work release two years of probation – both with GPS monitoring.
