Millsboro Man Charged with Drug Offenses after Traffic Stop

A Millsboro man has been charged after a traffic stop Thursday night.  Just after 7pm Delaware State Police stopped an Explorer near Old Landing and Iron Branch Road.  The driver, 33 year old James Eley of Millsboro tried to run off on foot, but was arrested.  A search of the SUV turned up 7800 bags of heroin and Eley was holding over $500 in suspected drug proceeds.  Eley is charged with a variety of drug, traffic and other offenses and is being held on a cash only bond.
