Millsboro Man Arrested for Robbery in Georgetown

A Millsboro man has been arrested after a robbery Friday afternoon.  Georgetown Police were called for a fight on South Bedford Street but learned that it was actually a robbery and the suspect ran off on foot.  Police spotted a person matching the suspect’s description and arrested them.  Police learned the victim was giving 59 year old Joseph Selby a ride to Georgetown when Selby demanded money from the victim.  The victim stopped and got out of the vehicle – and Selby began to assault and choke the victim and grabbed his wallet.  Selby is charged with 2^nd degree robbery and strangulation and is being held at SCI in default of $10,000 cash bond.
