Millsboro Man Arrested for Home Invasion, Robbery & Kidnapping

A Millsboro man has been arrested after a home invasion, robbery and kidnapping Saturday morning. Delaware State Police say Steven Snell went into a home at the Rehoboth Beach Yacht and Country Club through an unlocked door, robbed a couple and the forced them into their car – the husband tied up in the trunk – and had the wife withdraw cash at the M&T Bank. At the bank the 81 year old woman refused to get back in the car as another customer arrived – and Snell drove off, with the husband still in the trunk. The husband was able to free himself after the car stopped. Snell was arrested at a residence in Pot Nets Creekside and charged with 2 counts of 1st degree kidnapping, 3 counts of 1st degree robbery and other offenses. He’s being held on over $362,000 cash only bond.
