Millsboro Area Man Arrested for Multiple Burglaries

A Millsboro area resident was awakened by a loud noise outside his home and discovered multiple pieces of stolen property outside his home – and spotted his son in a neighbor’s boat across the street – trying to remove a seat. Delaware State Police found large appliances, kitchen sink and countertop, furniture, lumber and more that 48 year old Timothy Elliott removed from 5 neighboring seasonal residences in Mariner’s Cove. Elliott was gone when Troopers arrived – but a K-9 unit found him hiding in the crawlspace to his home. Elliott is charged with multiple offenses and is being held at SCI in default of a secured bond.
