Milford Woman Charged with 5th DUI after Shawnee Road Crash

A crash Saturday night just before 10 led to the arrest of a Milford woman. Delaware State Police found a vehicle overturned near Shawnee Road and Harvest Lane in Greenwood. When troopers contacted the driver, 53 year old Patricia Prettyman, they smelled alcohol. A computer check showed Prettyman had four previous DUI convictions. Two passengers in her vehicle were taken to Bayhealth Sussex Campus – an 11 year old boy was late taken to AI DuPont Hospital with serious injuries. Prettyman is charged with 5th offense DUI, vehicular assault and other offenses. She was committed to The Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution on $20,201 cash only bond.
