Milford Police Seek Public’s Help Finding Armed Purse Snatcher

The Criminal Division of the Milford Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an armed robbery suspect.

Law enforcement officials say on Monday around 6:30 a.m. in the area of Southeast Front Street and Carlisle Lane, a victim was approached from behind by a suspect who displayed a weapon, then demanded the victim’s purse.

The suspect is described as a male in his late teens or early 20’s, between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall and wearing a face mask, light gray pants and a black hooded shirt. No racial description was provided.
