Milford Police searching for suspect who followed two children home from school

Milford Police are searching for a suspicious person suspect who they say followed two juveniles home from school and tried to enter their home.

According to the Milford Police Department, officers were called to the 500 block of Truitt Avenue in Milford to investigate reports of a suspicious male suspect who was believed to have tried to contact two juveniles in the area as they were walking home from school.

The two juveniles entered their home as they felt he was coming to contact them, according to police.

This suspect then reportedly tried to contact the two juveniles in the home, but the doors were locked and they refused to open the door.

The suspect is described as African American, large build, with short hair, and possibly a beard. He is believed to have been in a brown truck with brush or trees in the bed.

Police say the suspect was also talking to a female in a maroon car prior to trying to make contact with the two juveniles.
