Milford PD Arrest Man after an Attack with a Baseball Bat

Milford Police were called to North Street for a possible assault Tuesday evening. Investigation showed that 39 year old Robert Lewis was involved in an earlier confrontation – but left – and later returned with a baseball bat – and began to swing it at two victims – hitting one person. Lewis then struck a nearby vehicle with the bat several times causing considerable damage. Lewis is charged with possession of a deadly weapon, aggravated menacing and other offenses and is being held at SCI in Georgetown in default of over $22,000 secured bail.
