Milford councilman files to run for Mayoral seat

Milford City Councilman Archie Campbell has filed to run for Mayor of the City. Campbell has been a city council member for the past 2 years representing Ward 1; before that he spent 7 years on the city’s Planning and Zoning Commission. The Milford Chronicle reporting Campbell filed official paperwork on Thursday to run for the Mayor’s seat. Current Mayor Brian Shupe is leaving his post to run for the Delaware House of Representatives to fill the vacancy being created by Representative Harvey Kenton, who is retiring at the end of his current term.
