MERR Rescues Harp Seal at Dewey Beach

Some activity on the beach Friday morning in Dewey Beach after MERR was called for the rescue of a one-year old male harp seal. Officials say he had signs of possible infection and was taken for further assessment and treatment.
He’s been named him Gemini and he is now at the National Aquarium’s Marine Animal Rescue Program undergoing rehabilitation so he can be released back into the ocean.
