MD Governor to give State of State address today

Maryland Governor Larry Hogan will deliver his state of the State Address today. Governor Hogan enjoys high popularity ratings, and has presided over a flourishing state economy, but the state is facing tax challenges after the federal tax overhaul is forcing the state to figure out how to deal with high local taxes seen state education rankings slip recently. The governor will deliver his fourth address to a joint session of the Maryland General Assembly at noon, and will be live-streamed online.
