MD Governor Hogan Visiting on the OC Boardwalk during MACo Summer Conference
Yes – it probably WAS Maryland Governor Larry Hogan that you possibly spotted on the boardwalk Friday morning in Ocean City. While on the boards, the Governor presented citations to Dolle’s Candyland – a 4th generation candy company established in 1910 and Piezano’s Pizza, which opened in 1962. The Governor has been in town for the Maryland Association of Counties Summer Conference and he visited with shop owners and residents as he strolled on the boards.
Governor Hogan will deliver the closing address at the conference Saturday morning at the Convention Center — which will be streamed on Facebook and Twitter. The governor will directly address many of the most important issues facing Marylanders and county leadership today, including the economy, education, and violent crime in Baltimore City.
