MD Eastern Shore’s Top Spellers Headed to Scripps National Spelling Bee

The Maryland Eastern Shore Spelling Bee was held Saturday morning at UMES in Princess Anne. Wicomico County will be well-represented in Washington, DC. The Maryland Eastern Shore winner was Jeffrey Hsia of Bennett Middle School and the runner-up was Ariana Miah of Pemberton Elementary School. The Scripps National Spelling Bee is June 1st and 2nd.
