Maryland Wildfire Firefighters Headed West

A 20-member fire crew from Maryland has been sent out west to help battle wildfires for two weeks. The Maryland team will join 5 other crews from the Mid-Atlantic in Idaho where they’ll receive their assignments. The crew includes firefighters from the Maryland Forest Service, Park Service and Wildlife and Heritage Service and three volunteers from local fire departments. A 20-member crew from Delaware is in Colorado.
