Maryland State Police save an attempted jumper on the Chesapeake City Bridge. Around 5 PM last night, a man parked his car on the crest of the bridge in the middle of the roadway, then walked to the railing. Police responded to the scene, although the man refused to talk to troopers and threatened to jump if police approached him again. After a few tense moments, two state troopers talked the man down from the ledge; he was taken to the hospital for an emergency petition.
