Marydel Home Damaged by Fire

Fire crews were called to a Marydel home Sunday afternoon just after 4 for a fire which was called in by a neighbor.  Sudlersville and Marydel firefighters found flames and smoke coming from the Busic Church Road home – they were on the scene for about 90 minutes.  Officials say there were smoke alarms in the house but no sprinkler and damage is estimated at $125,000.  The Maryland State Fire Marshal is investigating to determine the cause and origin of the fire.
