A Mardela Springs man has been sentenced for robbery and assault. The Wicomico County State’s Attorney’s office charged 36 year old John Lowe after he robbed a Hebron grocery store and threatened the store clerk to open the register. Lowe couldn’t open the register – but ran off with about 10 packs of cigarettes, which he tried to sell or trade for gas at a Salisbury convenience store. Lowe was sentenced to 10 years in prison on one count each of robbery and 2nd degree assault.
