Man Shot, Wounded During Altercation In Georgetown Area
Delaware State Police are investigating a Halloween night shooting in the Georgetown area that left a man with a gunshot wound to his leg.
An investigation determined that a 22-year-old Millsboro man and a 25-year-old Millsboro woman were traveling in the area of the 20,000-block of Asketum Branch Road at about 9:07 p.m., when the man got into an altercation with people in another vehicle. An unknown person fired several rounds, one of which hit the man in the leg.
The victim contacted a paramedic unit stopped at Route 113 and Hardscrabble Road. His injury was not life-threatening.

Police also said evidence related to the shooting was recovered from the roadway.
