A Greenwood man is facing weapon-and-traffic related charges after being pulled over while driving on the shoulder of Beach Highway over the weekend.

Delaware State Police said the smell of alcohol led to a DUI investigation. During the investigation, police said 57-year-old Kevin Drummond was found to be carrying a concealed loaded .380 handgun with a loaded magazine. Further search of the vehicle, according to police, turned up a shotgun, a handgun, shotgun shells, a handgun magazine with six.38- rounds, an empty handgun magazine and 11 critical defense 9-mm rounds.

Drummond is charged with carrying a concealed deadly weapon, possession of a firearm while under the influence, DUI and failure to remain within a single lane.
