Magnolia man shot, police searching for suspects

Delaware State Police are investigating after a man was shot at a home in Magnolia.

According to the Delaware State Police Department, shortly before 3 a.m., Sunday troopers were called to a home in the 100 block of Terry Drive in Magnolia, for reports of shots fired.

Police arrived and found a 46-year-old man inside the home who had sustained a single gunshot wound to his torso. He was transported to an area hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The initial investigation found that the man was standing in his kitchen when he was struck by a bullet that came from outside. Multiple shell casings were located close to the home.

Two juveniles, who were also inside at the time of the shooting, were not injured.
