Milford Police have arrested a Magnolia man for driving under the influence of alcohol. Authorities say 55-year-old William Bronson has been charged with his 5th DUI.

On Thursday, February 7, authorities conducted a traffic stop on North DuPont Boulevard (U.S. Route 113) near Northwest 10th Street. Police tell WGMD they observed Bronson’s Chevrolet Suburban drifting back and forth between the left and right lanes, nearly striking the officer’s vehicle. Authorities say Bronson was taken into custody for impaired driving and later charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to have insurance identification in possession, failure to have registration card in possession, failure when moving right, left or turning to signal continuously, and improper lane change.

Bronson was committed at the Sussex Correctional Institute on 2,504 dollars secured bail. He’ll appear on Friday before the Kent County Court of Common Pleas for a Preliminary Hearing.
